Asking whether there is any way to make the United States responsible to a global constituency, this deconstruction of America's international relations following the World Trade Center attacks of 2001 fearlessly critiques the Bush administration. Based on the premise that the war on terrorism became the justification for intensifying America's pursuit of global domination, this book predicts that if America's leaders achieve their goal, they will impose the values of this country's corporate elite and evangelical Christian population on the world at large.
