Does life seem to happen around you, but not in you? Do you experience unexplainable emptiness? Does building a worthwhile life seem impossible? Traumatic childhood events may be holding you captive, just as they did the author. For decades Lynn Calder struggled to make sense of her life. Finding Christ through a dramatic sequence of events, coupled with intensive therapy, eventually unraveled a childhood of which she held no conscious memory. Despite a most startling diagnosis, Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD) now termed Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Lynn refused to believe that God intended for her to remain in darkness. No matter your experience, God's light can unlock any hidden doors in your past and together you can triumph! Lynn Calder is a wife, mother, and medical professional as well as a pianist, singer, and writer. Her writing extends to original gospel songs, both lyrics and melody. From Lynn's life experiences, she desires to speak for those longing to be heard, those trapped in the lies of early-life abuse.
