Whats a normal girl to do when moments before her planet is destroyed shes yanked to another universe, dropped on a nearly identical eaRth, given a new condo, car, girlfriend, more money than she knows what to do with, and a year off with nothing to do? Probably live in quiet luxury. Luckily for us, Cassandra Matthews is anything but a normal girl. Being fully conscious of the fact shes a character in a book that her author wasn't currently writing, she gets bored, decides to track down her dimensional double in this new universe, and snatch her away from the Department of Defense, all while her author isnt looking. Whats a normal author to do when, just as hes starting his new novel, discovers his main character has not only already completed the main goal of the whole story, but isnt happy with anything hes putting her through so far? Probably give up and go write greeting cards. Luckily for us, Cassandras author, Art, is anything but a normal writer. Being fully conscious of the fact that his main character probably has a better grasp than himself on things going on around her, Art decides to let Cassandra take the reins for a while. Is this a quirky new writing style? Is this the first steps into true madness? Is any universe safe anymore? Is any book safe anymore? These answers and less, may or may not be answered in the collected ramblings now called Cassandras Affect.
