"Dr. Unsworth and her co-authors provide a systematic approach to guide the therapist through the complex processes involved in working with this specific population. They provide a clear rationale for its adoption and cite compelling clinical evidence for its effectiveness. I would highly recommend this book as a valuable and accessible reference text particularly for practitioners developing their expertise in working with individuals experiencing the impact of living with substantial cognitive impairment." -- Sue Sloan, Occupational Therapist,Volume 49, Number 4 2001 issue of Australian Occupational Therapy JournalThis unique text teaches students the theory behind the treatment of many cognitive and perceptual problems by showing how experienced therapists reason in their practice with clients who have problems with cognition following neurological damage.
