Product Description On 7 June 2012, McClean County Illinois was wracked with what was being touted as a labor dispute within a local factory. Here we meet John Doe, a recently-graduated kid from the northern suburbs of the state who suddenly finds himself in the middle of something he doesn't understand. Along with fifty six other people, John enters the structure that is the source of all the commotion. Three weeks pass. For those outside, all is quiet and tense. For John and the others who entered, it is a living nightmare; a hell on earth that they must survive, against obstacles both human and inhuman. Fifty seven went into Complex 549. Three weeks later, only one leaves alive. This is the story of what happened. This is John's story. This is Complex 549. About the Author Michael began his literary career with Complex 549 in 2007. After two edits, some procrastination, and a half-dozen other projects later, '549' is finished. Michael has lived in both Michigan and Illinois, and traveled as far west as Colorado, and as far east as France. He has an Associates of the Arts in International Studies, which he is working to turn into a Bachelors degree. Michael is also currently entering the US Army Reserve in hopes of serving his country and gaining valuable life experience. In his free time, he likes to write, draw, read, and play video games. He is also an avid runner and self-professed goofball. He enjoys wearing his kilt and learning as many new things as possible.
