About the Book: When her husband of 30 years, Josh Bain, a leader in the small southern city of Dothan, Alabama, vanishes overnight, his wife Kate and the community are in shock. Where could he be and why had he disappeared? Dont I Know You is the story of a woman who comes into her own, coping with emotional and financial hardships that ultimately empower her. When Joshs whereabouts after six years are finally revealed, it is not until two years later that the former college sweethearts meet again face-to-face. This story also details how a lawsuit brought by a couple defrauded by Josh Bain and the company he misrepresented led to an historic tort reform ruling by the Alabama Supreme Court. A dramatic, humorous, poignant, and compelling cautionary tale, Dont I Know You will interest those who ever thought they knew someone, but turned out to be wrong.
