Nocturnal Invasion is an adult urban fantasy that explores a world of love, faith, death and life after all of the above. When darkness falls in the world of Dukak, it's always best that you- WATCH WHAT YOU DREAM... About the Author Julian Drummond was born and raised in the Flatbush Brooklyn section of New York. He lived there until moving to Philadelphia Pennsylvania at the age of seventeen where he attended Drexel University and earned a BS in information systems. Julian's imagination and writing often served as a retreat from his often problematic reality. The idea for Dukak: Nocturnal Invasion came about resulting from some of Julian's own personal experiences with sleep paralysis and night terrors growing up. For therapeutic purposes, he began to keep a dream journal of the vivid dreams he would experience with the hope of someday understanding their meaning. Through Julian's dreams and his vivid imagination, Dukak was soon born first as a spec screenplay. When it was determined the length of the screenplay was too long, he converted the script into a novel, refusing to trim the fat from the story he loved so deeply. Today, Julian works fulltime as an IT consultant while also writing the next untitled installment of the Dukak series.
