Environmental Management: Issues and Solutions has grown from a series of seminars on environmental management organized by the UNEP Environmental Education and Training Unit with input from some 25 governments of developing countries. This volume is a compilation of presentations made at these seminars by over 50 specialist authors from all over the world, and by participants who are executives and key cadres in ministries or organizations from a wide range of developing countries concerned with the environment.
