Follow Pope Francis on his journey from Argentina to Rome! This whimsical, full-color picture book shows children what Pope Francis was like as a child, a student, and a young adult, including his interests in science and soccer. The high points of his religious life, including his election as pope and his canonization of John XXIII and John Paul II, are described in language young children can grasp (for faith vocabulary words, there are definitions provided). And families will appreciate the notes for continuing the faith conversation with their children. For children in prekindergarten through second grade.
