Product Description The staff for the writing workshop sensed disaster when they examined the applications of the participants. Obviously, no one had screened the applicants nor studied their writing samples. Even by design, the organizers couldn't have assembled a less promising or more incompatible group of would-be writers. The conference headliner had enjoyed spectacular success as a writer. But he was a total failure at teaching his craft to others. No one could fault the organizers for failing to learn of past conflicts between some of the participants that added to the incendiary potential of the mix.Could it get worse? Yes, and it did when a corpse was found in the garden with a letter opener stuck in its back. About the Author Pleiades, "Seven Sisters," is the pseudonym of seven members of the Cincinnati chapter of Sisters in Crime. The sisters brought diverse backgrounds in corporate finance, advertising, publishing, accounting, teaching, human relations, and engineering to their common interest in writing a mystery novel.
