(Easy Piano Songbook). Shot on a shoestring budget, this 2006 Irish musical film captured the hearts of movie-goers not only with its sweet and authentic plot, but also with its awesome songs, performed by The Frames frontman Glen Hansard and young Czech musician Marketa Irglova, who later banded together as The Swell Season. The soundtrack was nominated for a Grammy, and the lead ballad "Falling Slowly" won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. The stage adaptation also won the Tony Award for Best Musical. Our folio features easy piano arrangements of 13 tunes: All the Way Down * Broken Hearted Hoover Fixer Sucker Guy * Fallen from the Sky * Falling Slowly * Gold * The Hill * If You Want Me * Leave * Lies * Once * Say It to Me Now * Trying to Pull Myself Away * When Your Mind's Made Up.
