At the age of five, Sammy struggles with his size and beauty as he is not as grand as his brother Benny and is never chosen as the yearly spectacle known as the town tree. That however does not deter Sammy. Taking his grandfathers advice, Sammy looks to the sky every night to thank the stars for the sun and the light which keeps him warm on the cold winter days, with hopes that the stars will bring him luck. After years of being left behind, Sammys time to shine finally arrives. View the world through Sammys eyes and join him on his journey as he blossoms from a tiny sapling into a magnificent beauty and experiences the wondrous joy of the Christmas holiday while also forming a special place in our hearts.
