Chuck Adams is the world's best known and most widely published bowhunter - the only bowhunter to complete three Grand Slams on American deer. And, for the first time, his epic journey to bag all 28 of the continent's big game species with a bow - the Super Slam - is retraced in this extreme high-adventure book. Readers can now experience for themselves these awesome adventures: staring at a snarling 9-foot polar bear at 15 steps with nothing but a bow and no backup firepower, trekking for the Grand Slam of wild sheep, and spotting a world record elk in the Montana mountains. Enthusiasts will learn the secrets to his success with practical bowhunting knowledge, and become better bowhunters thanks to Chuck's lifetime of cross-continent bowhunting experiences. Aside from being one of the world's best bowhunters, Chuck Adams serves as a design consultant for several archery firms. His bowhunting prowess is without equal - he holds several records, including 52 Pope & Young record book animals.
