Product Description Things are good in the City of Banktown. Heck, thingsve never been better. Thanks to a focused revitalization effort, the streets are safer, the arts are thriving, and business is booming like it hasnt boomed in years. Unfortunately, while the city celebrates its rebirth, everything isnt as wonderful as it seems. A serial sniper is now on the loose. And tonight, three of the citys lowlier inhabitants-a hooker, a homeless man, and a self-loathing sports reporter-are about to find out, through a single act of spectacular violence, exactly how they fit into this renaissance. An action-packed, witty, thought-provoking thriller, "The Best Sniper Ever" is the debut novel from contrarian columnist Jonathan David Morris. This exclusive paperback edition also includes the shocking first chapter of the novella, "Versus Nurture." Praise for "The Best Sniper Ever": "Morris's first book is a gripping, fast read, soundly paced and solidly plotted. A number of parallels to mid-late period Vonnegut." - Patrick Slevin, The Aquarian Weekly "Between writers who churn out recycled plot lines every two months, and books based on television shows that were spinoffs of motion pictures, it can be quite difficult to find a fresh, original voice in the literary world. Jonathan David Morris possesses such a voice." - Craig Ostroff, Montgomery Newspapers About the Author Jonathan David Morris is the author of three books, including his 2008 debut novel, "The Best Sniper Ever," and the 2012 novella "Versus Nurture."
