When a Nazi bomb hit the home of the author's parents' house in London, all that was left was a big, black hole! When she grew up into a fashionable and adventurous young lady, she climbed the ladder of success, taking on a challenging teaching position in Hong Kong. Her vivid, engaging style will hold the reader spellbound as she recreates the colourful oriental settings with some shocking revelations. Far more shattering, however, are the revelations that follow, when the author returned to Britain - in the astonishing account of her David and Goliath struggle against the combined might of members of the British aristocracy, when wearers of The Old School Tie closed ranks to protect a senior House Master after a cricket ball smashed through a plate-glass window. High-level intrigue, corruption, conspiracy and efforts at a major cover-up ensue to leave the author bereft of her home, her capital and reputation - leaving her, once again, with a Black Hole.
