A science fiction novel - Brief description: In what should have been a routine rescue mission, instead became a pitched, mind numbing battle against something they referred to as the WATCHERS. What was at stake? A super weapon, if it existed, and the rescue of a crack recon squad doing their damnedest to not only survive, but to escape from an uninhabited planet that is on the edge of total disintegration. Throw in an odd rescue team, from a diverted cargo space cruiser that didnt have a clue as to what they were going up against - and back room wheeling and dealing, and outright interference from the Federated World Council of Planets - and you have the makings of a great story; chaos, intrigue, bravery, love and the ultimate test of Good vs. Evil.
