Luke and Marion go for a walk to the pond with their cousin on a bright sunny day, spotting lots of animals on the way. But when they get there, it starts to rain. The twins love splashing about in the puddles, but the animals are nowhere to be seen! Where do they go when it rains? The insects take shelter in the grass and leaves, while the ducklings huddle under their mother?s wings. But the pigs are having fun rolling around in the mud in the farmyard! Young readers will love to spot the details in Gerda Muller's illustrations as they discover which animals love the rain as much as the twins, and which hide away until it passes. From the creator of USBBY-honored A Year in our New Garden, this tenth anniversary edition of Where Do They Go When it Rains will delight young nature lovers.
