"Even If" What do you do when confronted with a life threatening situation? Sickness, disease, death, divorce, layoffs, and foreclosure, are just some of the issues of life that can cause us to become paralyzed with fear, and ultimately experiencing an agonizing defeat. Sometimes we face these crossroads with a shattered confidence and a hopeless attitude. In Daniel chapter 3, the Bible tells us how Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego faced their life threatening situation, and illustrates the type of faith they possessed in order to experience the power of God in their lives. "Even if" is an attitude that enables one to overcome life's most challenging obstacles. It is a mindset that turns fear into faith. It is a firm belief that no matter what situation I may find myself in, I know that God is a deliverer for those who choose to make Him Lord of their life. "Even If" is a decision to stand strong in difficult times. IT IS RELENTLESS FAITH! About the Author: Brian E. Church is the President and CEO of One To One Family Christian Counseling, Inc.
