The Great Conversion takes a hard look at the truth behind the unyielding depravities that plague America with a special focus on the African American culture. Many professed believers think they have a personal faith walk with God, yet cannot understand why tribulations persist in their personal lives and their communities. This book exposes that there are many who have professed belief in God's Messiah, but, their faith is integrated with false spiritual and political dogma, true repentance from their sinful nature eludes them. Thus, a counterfeit faith is born. However, this book directs the reader to Biblical truth and will show God's perspective in regards to society's errors about moral issues; therefore, helping professed Christians see where they are in error, and where their loyalties ought to lie. Consequently, true holiness will be achieved. God will be [positively] provoked to intercede for those who were once deceived, resulting in genuine salvation, harmony and godly prosperity. David L. Brown has lived in historic Charles City County, Virginia most of his life. For years, he has spoken passionately about America's disregard for God's will concerning social and political issues that influence our lives. This book serves to remind individuals that God's way and His thoughts are without recanting and must always be embraced. Brown is also the author of Like Fire Shut Up in My Bones.
