Evans started taking creative writing classes two years ago, and after the very first assignment, she was hooked. Encouraged by her teacher to write short stories, she began getting her thoughts on paper, and after finishing the first class, the characters Carter and her sister Patty were born. They ultimately found their way into her debut full-length thriller, False Perceptions. When Evans sat down at the computer to write her story, everyone in the novel came to life, consuming her thoughts throughout the day. The author currently lives in Twinsburg, Ohio with her husband Tom, and sons, Zachary and Samuel McBroom.
