From goodtime girls, gambling in Las Vegas, dens of iniquity in Eastern Europe and onto Thailand.... Are we here by design, or fortuitous incalculable chance? The book follows the authors life over a four-year period since the divorce from his first wife and details his travels around the world in a quest to find another. He discusses his thoughts, ideas, annoyances and his newly discovered meaning of life. Recalling with vivid descriptions, sexual encounters and the visiting of various entertaining establishments in Europe, USA and Southeast Asia. To wander the darkest, deepest forests of Thailand. Maybe to take a second wife, a dutiful beautiful Thai temptress or two, in a Gauguinesque manner for the 21st century. She stood to reveal the full length of her tresses, a long violet dress and slightly elevated black platform shoes. Both comic and profound he explains his interests from art to a** and comments on diverse subjects ranging from global warming, alternate fuels and diet to parallel universes! Describing the changes within him which produced a new perspective on his existence. My Thai beauty closed the door behind us. Before I could savour the moment her fingertips grazed the top of her shoulders and the skimpy dress just fell to the floor. When we are gone, no bank account balances, houses, holiday homes or car counts will be taken into consideration. We are the sum of our memories, experiences, thoughts and actions, and nothing more. I knew above all else, things had to change.
