"Landscape of Envies" is a handsome volume, the fourth to be published by Little Red Tree Publishing, in which Jean-Yves has once again created a complete book of poetry, both riveting and challenging in its scope as well as penetrating into areas of the human condition that are the refuge of dreamers and the artist. Like Cezanne, who redefined a personal perception of the world and in so doing laid the path toward total abstraction that others were to follow, in many ways you will find that Jean-Yves is engaged in the same process of fashioning a personal multilayered experience that redefines through poetry the world in which he and we all live.
