Review This edited collection of papers entitled Logistics Management and Optimization through Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Systems presents a set of applications which purpose is to solve a wide variety of modern and real world problems on logistics management and optimization by means of Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Systems. --José Alberto Hernández-Aguilar, Autonomous University of Morelos State, Mexico Product Description Hybrid Artificial Intelligent Systems (HAIS) try to deal with the complexity of real world phenomena using a multidisciplinary approach and a plurality of techniques.Logistics Management and Optimization through Hybrid Artificial Intelligence Systems offers the latest research within the field of HAIS, surveying the broad topics and collecting case studies, future directions, and cutting edge analyses. Using biologically-inspired algorithms such as ant colony optimization and particle swarm optimization, this text includes solutions and heuristics for practitioners and academics alike, offering a vital resource for staying abreast in this ever-burgeoning field. About the Author Alberto Ochoa Ortiz-Zezzatti (B.S. '94, Eng. Master '00, Ph.D. '04, Postdoctoral Researcher,'06, and Industrial Postdoctoral Research '09). He joined the Juarez City University in 2008. He has 1 book, and 7 chapters in books related with AI. He has supervised 17 Ph.D. theses, 27 M.Sc. theses and 29 undergraduate theses.
