Meet Emma: Salem witch, mother of one, and quilt shop owner. Join her in the humorous world of Internet dating, instant messaging, and e-mails that seem to have replaced chance meetings, telephone calls, and love letters. Emma's journey is sometimes funny, sometimes sad, usually puzzling, but always entertaining. She meets men and discusses relationships with her best friends-Madison, the outrageous; Zoe, the earth mother; and John, the best male friend a single woman could have. Freaks, geeks, toads, turtles, and handsome princes abound, but love is never easy to find or keep. Follow Emma and her friends through this new dating game where the rules are never clear and seem to change with each new player. The women remain convinced that it's not the female sex that is fragile and confusing, but the men who make a grand entrance and then disappear faster than any magic trick, run from the very thing they are chasing, and hide like frightened rabbits in the dark recesses of a black top hat.
