What smells, splashes in puddles, steps in icky-gooey things, and walks in the holiness of God? Meet fun and quirky Mr. Caleb! He plays the guitar, likes vegetables, and loves the Lord. He also walks everywhere barefoot. From running shoeless in the snow to jumping in puddles to stepping in trash, where hasnt this worship leader trod? Wearing colorful hats, this young, modern-day hippie putters in a clunky VW bus in the most comical adventures. Find out the deep spiritual significance behind Mr. Calebs bare feet. Where other Christian early reader books target specific genders and older ages or have existed for decades, this first book of the Mr. Caleb series brings a fresh new presence within the Christian arena. Meet Mr. Caleb targets kids ages 4 to 7 and parents who desire to introduce Biblical truths through fiction and laughter. Unique to Meet Mr. Caleb is a follow-up section that centers around family involvement as a primary tool for a more meaningful bible learning and prayer time with kids. Also, a fun, family therapy technique of cooking is utilized within this section to help kids tangibly and practically walk out their faith in the real world. Bible references, application, and activities are also included to broaden the childs horizon beyond self to family and world spheres. Make learning about God and the Bible fun!
