The first ever print edition of the acclaimed cult classic web comic series by writer-artist Dan Goldman (Shooting War, 08: A Graphic Diary of the Campaign Trail)! The debut volume of an ongoing series of graphic novels from IDW Publishing.Red Light Properties presents the continuing adventures of a Miami based real estate agency ambitious--and creative--enough to find a unique solution to the downturned housing market: they specialize in exorcising and flipping "previously-haunted" homes. The husband-and-wife led agency unearths properties that are unsellable because they're haunted. Jude Tobin, the husband, cleans out said haunted homes using Santería and drugs to communicate with the ghosts. The ghosts find closure. The seller unloads their property. The RLP Agency receives a fee. Everyone wins... except maybe for the Tobins, who are barely on speaking terms. You see, it's not an easy business, flipping haunted houses. The haunted real estate series created by writer-artist Dan Goldman (Shooting War, 08: A Graphic Diary of the Campaign Trail) begins here! Welcome to the world of Jude and Cecilia Tobin where ghost stories, five-alarm family dramas, urban shamanism and real estate collide to create a sun-bleached supernatural horror noir mash-up."Goldman's ghost stories made the hairs on the back of my neck prickle, while the bawdy slapstick interludes served only to lure me into dropping my guard for the next scare. Highly recommended." - Cory Doctorow, BOING BOING"Hilarious... A druggy blast inspired by Goldman's heroes like Terence McKenna, Larry David and Wong Kar-Wai." - Wired.com"Cartoonist Dan Goldman made a splash with his work on the political graphic novels Shooting War and 08... RED LIGHT PROPERTIES is his real labor of love, the story of a Florida real estate exorcist that mixes the supernatural with the current real estate crisis." - Publisher's Weekly"Mixing the supernatural realm with an all-too-familiar world of marriage breakdowns, financial meltdowns and everyday horrors, the strip is more impressive work from the man behind Shooting War and 08: A Graphic Diary Of The Campaign Trail." - TIME.com's Techland"Dan Goldman is one of the few creators who carries a boatload of style, credibility, and innovation in the comics scene... [RLP] pops more than any of his previous work, partially due to the color palate but mostly because you can clearly see the man is having fun." - Miami New Times
