? The Subversive Trilogy imagines a chilling and not-too-distant future when Christianity is outlawed in the United States.Gemma Alcott knew running was her only option. The Task Force had descended upon her hometown like locusts, arresting everyone who refused to renounce their faith in Christianity. The United States had devolved into a land of intolerance and violence against those who believed differently than the government, leaving Gemma no choice but to flee into the shadows with other subversives, where she spends each day praying for deliverance from danger-and from loneliness.Taylor Nolan is a young Task Force soldier full of conviction and moral certainty in this new world order. He hunts subversives with ruthless efficiency and uncompromising dedication, even though his first love-Gemma-is one of them. While traveling alone in the woods, Gemma is captured by a rogue Task Force unit-a group even more fierce and cruel than Taylors own squad. Confined in a dark interrogation room and fearing certain death, she prays for the courage-and faith-to protect her friends at any cost. When he learns of Gemmas capture, Taylor is forced to confront the anger lurking in his own heart. And he must decide-once and for all-whether he is fighting against evilor for it.
