Evil plagues the city, and it leaves a trail of bodies as its calling card. Three young people have been killed under mysterious circumstances; the bodies have been drained of blood, but not a drop can be found anywhere. Julian Reynolds believes the culprit may be his old nemesis, the Dragon, an evil vampire bent on destroying the human race. Julian himself is far from human-not anymore anyway. Although he, too, is a vampire with all of the wealth and power that comes with the curse, he is benevolent and fights for justice. Julian is satisfied with this life that was forced upon him centuries ago, until he discovers the curse can be reversed through the love of a special woman. That woman is the unsuspecting Adrianna Avani, whose bloodline contains the special gene that could make Julian human again. A successful businesswoman, she must decide if the price of loving Julian should be paid with her own blood. As the ancient evil stalks them both, a stranger appears. He could possess the only weapon capable of defeating the enemy, or he could pose an even greater threat.
