Product Description Spirited with insightful poetry and prose, Winterland is a thought-provoking journey through a nostalgic Christmas. From the adventurous fjords of Norway to the pioneering holiday traditions of an Americana time gone by, this Christmas offering weaves together poetic reflections and meaningful short stories from two different yuletide lands and beyond.Winterland is a place where fishermen' snowshoes trek, cathedral spires illuminate, a settlers hearth burns peacefully, and whims come alive east of the sun and west of the moon. Rising poet, artist, and author Stefan Lowry has captured deep cultural roots as a contemporary writer, filling this Christmas celebration with charm, heritage, raw emotion, and wintry imagination. From territories of frost, to mornings of marvels, blizzards of pilgrimage, and songs to reindeer, Winterland is the perfect fireside companion for a long winter's night. About the Author Stefan Lowry resides in both Florida and the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina. His first poetry book, Flight of the Imagination, came onto the literary scene in 1999. He continues to write and grow in his art and creativity.
