This is a new critical edition of A Famylyer Dyaloge of the Freende and the Felaw, a late 15th-century translation of the Latin work Dialogus familiaris amici et sodalis (c. 1425) by Alain Chartier. The prose work forcefully laments the ruinous conditions in France brought about by thecorruption and vices of the rulers, army, and common people in the early 15th century.
