Phoebe wants to love God and others wholeheartedly, but a competition ensues underneath her Sunday-go-to-meetin threads. Behind the front door of her home, she smothers under family influence. She desperately wishes to be herself. Happy faith-is it too much to ask? When she is reduced to reminding herself to put one foot in front of the other, she begs God to take her home.Instead of heaven, He allows earthly agony. Isolated to a faith coma, she feels as if God has abandoned her. Prime place for her to trust Him. Sure, she can accept His sovereignty, but how in the world is He good? Her family watches as Phoebe wrestles through the fiery trial on her knees.  They see her inch her way out of the dark fog by way of fascination with Gods Word. She baby-steps into steadier faith. Opening the windows of her soul wider, she allows others to see her for who she really is. Her honesty is how she loves others. The more she obeys God, her confidence grows into unique faith with a backbone. When He leads her to love the one responsible for the earthly agony, how will she react?
