"And beginning at Moses...He expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself." Luke 24:27 Israel's journey from Egypt to the promised Land has been described as the "wilderness wanderings." And at times, our readings through the first five books of Moses may seem similar: dry, dull, and desolate. Yet, Jesus said these Scriptures "testify" of Him John 5:39 the Pentateuch-Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy-reveals Jesus in countless ways... In Genesis, we see Him as the Light of the world In Exodus, we see Him as our Passover Lamb. In Leviticus, we see Him as our burnt offering In Numbers, we see Him as the serpent lifted up in the wilderness. And in Deuteronomy, we see Him as the Word of God.
