Product Description The end of the world was just the start of their problems... A Rapturous Occasion is a novel about The Lyons, a wealthy middle-aged couple who believe the end is nigh. To ensure their loved ones are taken care of after The Rapture, they write three letters, each containing $1,000 and notes of condolence. The letters are addressed to: Sarah, their daughter who married a Marxist; Leah, their goddaughter who was cut off for enrolling in a class on evolution; and Carl, their former housekeeper who was caught with his hand in the cookie jar. This is a book that will keep you laughing as you furiously turn the pages, anxious to learn what happens when the characters inevitably collide. One thing is certain, it will make for A Rapturous Occasion. About the Author Corey Pung is a blogger, book reviewer, amateur illustrator, and writer. He has written a book titled The Madness of Art: Short Stories. He is currently working on a novel.
