And Gladly Teach looks sardonically at college preparatory education today. Bedeviled by athletic mania, beset by incipient insolvency, beleaguered by lunatic consultants and heretical ?modern churchmen,? St. Lawrence Academy, a typical(?) boarding school, provides both laughs and food for thought. The 2nd Edition is now available (July 2012), and on Kindle too. By careful editing I cut about 3,000 words (from a 51,000 word text) without eliminating any characters or events; I even added a couple of paragraphs. Editing is a humbling experience. So now it's better than ever (!)--buy it today. Buy two in case you lose one.
