With archival materials and previously unpublished pattern books, Anna Buruma navigates Liberty's role in Artistic dress. Examining how their idiosyncratic fashions of Greek and Roman style evening dress and medieval tea gowns translated into late nineteenth and early twentieth century fashionable dress.
