(Music Sales America). This 2-CD collection contains 45 extended blues jams in the styles of Eric Clapton, George Thorogood, Jeff Healey, Booker T. and the MGs, and many more. With Jam Trax, musicians at every level can practice soloing ideas and techniques while playing with a live back-up band. The best way to learn or improve improvising skills is to play with a live band, and now you can take advantage of this opportunity in the privacy of your own room with The Blues Jam Trax Collection . Inside this book, you'll find an easy-to-read chord chart for each of the songs on the CDs, showing you what chords to play and how long to play them. Each song includes several suggested scale patterns, licks, and riffs that fit the progressions. CD 1 contains traditional 12- and 24-bar blues progressions, while CD 2 focuses on the Chicago style and more modern blues sounds. All of these progressions have served as the basis for some of the greatest songs in the history of popular music. All examples are written in standard notation and tablature.
