From the Author Sin is a universal problem. It is deadlier than any disease one could name be it cancer, heart disease or AIDS. Indeed, these diseases kill only the body, but sin brings spiritual death that is, eternal damnation and eternal separation from God! Spending the rest of eternity in the Lake of Fire with the devil and all his legion of demons for companions? What a grim prospect! But God has provided an antidote to eradicate once for all the problem of sin: the Blood of Jesus shed on Calvary! This book, which examines the question of the Blood of Jesus, explains clearly God's Redemptive Plan for man. It is, therefore, a must for every living human being for, the Bible declares, all have sinned and fall short of God's glory! Product Description And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. That is what God's Word adamantly and peremptorily declares in Hebrews 9:22.If forgiveness of our sins and our eternal salvation depend exclusively upon the shedding of blood, it is of the utmost importance that we ask ourselves a number of questions: "The shedding of whose blood?" "Has that blood been shed?" "If yes, when was that?" "Where did it happen?" "What are the consequences of that blood shedding?" "How can we be sure that the blood that was shed is adequate and potent enough to guarantee us eternal salvation?" "What is implied by salvation, anyway?" And most of all, "How can we appropriate the benefits of that blood?"Dr. Jean Norbert Augustin answers all these questions and more in his book.
