Is Your Christian Faith Relevant? Have you ever wondered why your Christian faith does not seem to be relevant to many aspects of your life or to many of the decisions you are called upon to make? Or wondered why many Christians you know do not seem to live their lives consistent with what they profess to believe? In Core Values for the Young (and Not So Young) Christian, Darryl Bloodworth addresses the age-old question of why so many of us who profess to be Christians do not live as Jesus taught. But he does not just address the question. In a clear, example-filled style, you will discover: 1. A practical method of examining one's behavior and holding it up to the values that Jesus described in the Sermon on the Mount. 2. Twenty easy-to-remember core values on how to live the life Jesus asks us to live. 3. Steps to internalize these values for a positive behavioral outcome. 4. Insight into developing sound, Biblical core values in your children and grandchildren. Plus much more! "This book is a deeply Biblical, practical and compelling guide to life. The stories and teaching are engaging because they are so true for us all." - Dr. Joel C. Hunter, Senior Pastor. Northland - A Church Distributed "Humanists have often charged the beatitudes with being theoretical and impractical. They are, of course, neither and in this book, Bloodworth gives them legs to run on and hands to work with." - Mark Rutland, Ph.D. President, Oral Roberts University
