This Book's Purpose The purpose of this book is to equip you to bring the cross of Christ into your everyday life. It contains seven Biblical values reflecting different facets of Jesus' sufferings. These ancient disciplines are ascribed fresh new meaning in light of the Biblical and historical background of our Lord's passion. In addition, to use as a personal growth resource, this work is intended for use as a tool in the discipleship of others. It can be used one on one in a mentoring relationship or as part of a small group experience. The end result desired by the author is to inspire the formation of strong and spiritually prolific disciples of Christ. Dr. Korbet Swope (A.Th., B.Th., M.Th., M.Div., D.Min.) resides in Chattanooga Tennessee with his wife Melanie and their three children Kaleb, Noah, and Micah. He is the founding pastor of the Cross Culture Christian Church and has served the Lord in Christian ministry for over twenty years.
