She started creating fictional characters and stories about them before she could write her name. In the 1960s when she was growing up, her neighborhood still retained the rural charm that invites imagination to bloom. Although she majored in English and broadcasting at Penn State, she credits her seventh grade English teacher for encouraging her to develop her writing skills. Bridget lives in Central New Jersey.
