About the Author Elaine North has written five novels. North traveled extensively throughout Europe and the U.S., and to Africa. She has lived in Switzerland, working as a bilingual secretary. Elaine North graduated from the University of Illinois, and was an advertising and newspaper photojournalist in the 1980s.
