There were two objectives in this study. First objective was about the relationship between emotional intelligence, coping strategies and cultural adjustment among foreign students in India. Second objective was to investigate and determine the problems and difficulties experienced by foreign students. Both male (376) and female (242) foreign students from 15 countries (N=618) were classified into four groups of countries such as: Middle East, African countries, East Asian countries, Western countries and European countries. The participants were studying for their Bachelors, Masters or Ph. D degree under academic discipline and Yoga courses or Language courses under non-academic discipline. The data was collected in five universities located in the following cities: Mysore, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, and Delhi, which has a sizeable intake of foreign students.
