Fire Sale Tales In Fire Sale and The Sisigwad Papers you learned about the town of Sisigwad, its dark secret and even darker history. Fire Sale Tales is a collection of stories involving longtime residents and visitors just unfortunate enough to pass through town and then some. From the early trappers, who made Sisigwad their base camp, facing a harsh winter and an unspeakable evil to the festering greed of long dead miners influencing the living. Or the mysterious disappearance of a contract killer for the Purple Gang and what really happened to him, to a returning combat veteran returning from the horrors of the European Campaign experiencing flashbacks and premonitions. To some 1960s Flower Children finding out that Back to Nature has more than one definition. These and other stories help to explain the enigma of the town of Sisigwad from its earliest days to its unbelievable end.
