Kimballs arrived in 1634 during the Puritans Migration, and Joneses appeared in Delaware in the early 1700s. Sarah survived river bandits and hostile Indians before moving to Indiana Territory, and Hullum walked from North Carolina to Indiana where they met and married in 1819.
