A "framework" consists of perspectives through which an individual approaches living and believing. Each person's framework is molded fundamentally by certain key social and cultural phenomena. Persons who grow up together through experiences unique to their time and hold common interpretations of these experiences form a cohort. Members of the same cohort often share a common framework.
