As the cracks in Earths ecosystems beginning to show a group of young people are drawn together by shared dream experiences. When they realize, however, that the dreams are actually warnings about a bleak, desperate future, they endeavor to solve the dreams riddle to save their planet. But only one has the prophetic vision with the answer, and it will force her into the most difficult choice she has ever had to make. A fast-paced cautionary tale about the dangers of our present course and the consequences of inaction, Sam Sidawis debut is a thought-provoking, captivating story that is as suspenseful as it is entertaining. Earth's ecosystems have not collapsed-yet. But the cracks are beginning to show. Dozens of species of fish have vanished from the seas and only jellyfish seem to prosper in the poisoned waters. It's even hard to say whether the beautiful sunsets are due to nature or pollution. For Helen and a group of young people drawn together by their dreams, the truth may be even worse. When the group realizes that their visions are warnings about the Earths bleak future, they are desperate to figure out why they are part of this ambiguous, terrifying, and obscure puzzle. When Helen experiences a hopeful vision, however, she must decode its symbolism in order to discover the truth: the fate of humanity hangs in the balance and Helen must make the most difficult and painful choice imaginable. A stark warning that we must change our attitudes toward the environment to avoid a disastrous end, Sidawi delivers a wildly imaginative, thought provoking, and moving dialectic. Full of metaphysical truths and harsh realities that we cannot simply explain away, his unique style and uncompromising look into our future is nothing short of visionary. Full of tension and an ever-present sense of the unexplainable being the source of reality, Goodbye Earth: Air, Land, Water, OzoneIts All Connected is a mind-expanding journey to the heart of life as we know it.
