Tate grew up in Chicago, the youngest of 7 and fortunate enough to be raised by one who encouraged exploration and growth in all directions. At a young age, she began writing, influenced by things around her, both visible and non-visible. Treasured experiences built an interest in the exploration of life and spirit energy through many avenues. These studies and pursuits continue through her practice of Aikido and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Michelle is a licensed acupuncturist and co-founder of a practice located in Illinois, Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine Clinic. She is also an instructor of Aikido at the Abiding Spirit Center and the Aikido Shimboku Kai.
