The burial-ground has grown immensely since its expansion, in 1857, beyond the walls of the original churchyard. "Kilkerran Graveyard Revisited" forms a sequel to "An Historical and Genealogical Tour of Kilkerran Graveyard" by the same author and illustrator, published by Kintyre Civic Society in 2006 and still available from the Society. Angus Martin was born in Campbeltown. Editor of "The Kintyre Magazine", this is his twentieth book. Artist George John Stewart traces his Kintyre connections to the 19th Century. He started The Oystercatcher Gallery in Campbeltown in 1989.
