The author is an experienced Paramedic, Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team member, and College EMT Instructor. Be prepared. That motto is important for all of us, be prepared. Our children are often quite unprepared for survival without us. This book is intended to get children thinking, and to expose them to the possibility of becoming lost. Although such talk can be unsettling for young children it is vitally important. Lost in the woods: A Children's Survival Guide presents important survival information in a way that children can identify with while learning the important lessons of survival. The perfect companion on any excursion and a great read along with your children before or during your next outing. Lost in the woods: A Children's Survival Guide is an important addition to any backpack or suitcase if the great outdoors is on the agenda.
