Marissa Davenport, Trish Franklin, and Kirsten Keenon-three distinct young women from three different cities-move to Washington DC to follow their dreams. Although each pursues a different career path, the three new roommates quickly become friends and find their lives intertwined with organized crime, romance, politics, and sports. Cruising the socialite party scene, Kirsten, a congressman's aide, introduces Marissa to Joe Fitzgerald, a prominent but adulterous senator with ties to the mob. Marissa and Joe begin a yearlong affair, but their relationship could severely hamper Joe's bid for the vice presidency. Trish begins dating Steve Landowski, a professional quarterback who's made a point-shaving deal with the Mafia. The couple's safety may be in jeopardy when Trish encourages Steve to come clean and sever his ties with organized crime. When the three women realize how closely their lives are interconnected, they devise a plan that could cripple the Mafia. This action-packed drama plays out in the backdrop of one of the United States' most powerful cities. Love Capitolized, a story of love, tragedy, and violence, explores the corrupt worlds of politics and crime, in which the thirst for power and money is insatiable.
